I’m hoping for help with a personal family matter that I think needs prayer. I don’t want to give to much detail. I am hoping that this book gives me some help in praying for someone very close to me and helping them heal.
Finished Reading, Fireproof…
This book is a moving testimony. I cried in some spots. I found myself wanting to fight for what is already strong in order to make it stronger.
I give it more than 5 stars! It’s actually that good. Excellent job to the Kendrick Brothers. 0
Now Reading, Fireproof
Never leave your partner behind, hmm makes for a very interesting conversation, right? Of course some people would think this story is about firefighting but the truth is that it isn’t. I won’t delve into what it’s really about because that would ruin it for you. I will say this it will definitely make think about what you feel deep in your heart. It will also make you do some soul searching and make you question everything. It will change your life in more ways than one. My husband and I are reading it together.
Good luck to those of you all who want to read this book.
So far, definitely 5 stars.
A Mother’s Choice…
This book was amazing. I literally read it 4-1/2 hours. The pain that one woman felt was just deep as the joy of the other and vice versa. One secret but many more lives changed.
Definitely 5stars.
Finished Reading, I Was Anastasia…
I’m only rating this book 4stars. It doesn’t really give matter of fact up to date information. Almost everything is told from a child’s perspective even as Anna Anderson tells of her journey to claim who she says she is.
None of her tellings are actually based upon proof from historical accounts from witnesses. Truth be told, there will probably never be an ending to this mystery of whether Anna Anderson is truly Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov. Too much of historical proof has said that all of the family is dead and died that night by firing squad.
Now Reading, I Was Anastasia…
This story is one that makes me truly sit back and think. It’s the story of what people perceive of one woman’s journey to tell the world who she believes she is. I’m in love with all things Romanov and the mystery of their deaths. Over 100 years later and their story has never truly been told. Was Anna Anderson truly Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov?
Origin, continued…
We have learned that Edmond Kirsch is paranoid and that he plans to tell the world of a scientific breakthrough that he believes will have far reaching repercussions. We also know that he and Robert Langdon are friends from when Langdon was the teacher to a young Edmond Kirsch. We are reaching the beginning of the fast paced thriller this novel was promised to be.
Origin, continued…
We have now met up with Mr Robert Langdon on his trip to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilboa, Spain. Of course like the other novels in the series this is just the beginning of his trek through the unknown.
I’m going to do my best to mainly name the places he is going to be in with a very brief description for his reason for being there so that way I don’t give away the plot of the book.
Origin, continued…
We have met two characters of this novel, Mr Edmond Kirsch and Bishop Antonio Valdespino. So far I don’t know much about this novel but like the others it has religious over tones with it.
Now Reading, Origin
Just starting this one. If it’s anything like the rest of the collection, I will be happy to finish reading it. This is the fifth book in the Robert Langdon series. If read in order you have them as follows:
- Angels&Demons
- The Da Vinci Code
- The Lost Symbol
- Inferno
- Origin
I absolutely love Dan Brown’s novels. They are well written and of course in more ways than one keeps you thinking about all the possibilities.
