This story is one that makes me truly sit back and think. It’s the story of what people perceive of one woman’s journey to tell the world who she believes she is. I’m in love with all things Romanov and the mystery of their deaths. Over 100 years later and their story has never truly been told. Was Anna Anderson truly Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov?
We have learned that Edmond Kirsch is paranoid and that he plans to tell the world of a scientific breakthrough that he believes will have far reaching repercussions. We also know that he and Robert Langdon are friends from when Langdon was the teacher to a young Edmond Kirsch. We are reaching the beginning of the fast paced thriller this novel was promised to be.
We have now met up with Mr Robert Langdon on his trip to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilboa, Spain. Of course like the other novels in the series this is just the beginning of his trek through the unknown.
I’m going to do my best to mainly name the places he is going to be in with a very brief description for his reason for being there so that way I don’t give away the plot of the book.
We have met two characters of this novel, Mr Edmond Kirsch and Bishop Antonio Valdespino. So far I don’t know much about this novel but like the others it has religious over tones with it.
Just starting this one. If it’s anything like the rest of the collection, I will be happy to finish reading it. This is the fifth book in the Robert Langdon series. If read in order you have them as follows:
- The Da Vinci Code
- The Lost Symbol
I absolutely love Dan Brown’s novels. They are well written and of course in more ways than one keeps you thinking about all the possibilities.
Sorry you guys. I can not finish reading this book. I tried to get myself to finish reading the book but I couldn’t finish it. For me that is very hard because I like to finish reading the book that I start. I hate starting a book and not finishing it, however, in this instance the book just wasn’t living up to the movie and nothing could sway me to continue the book.
We have now gotten Peter Lake’s life story and the life story of Pearly Soames, two of the main characters. We are about to meet another of the main characters and learn about her story and how she ties into the story.
Keep reading with me. Let’s learn more about the characters.
She’s finally here! She was born April 16, 2018. She’s a blessing. Only one week old and already teaching mommy and daddy how to be the best parents possible. She spent 4 and a half days in the NICU but rallied to get well enough to come home with her parents.
There’s absolutely no comparison to being a mom. She makes our family complete with just her presence in our life. She is our miracle baby and she is a fighter. Thank God for the Irish blood pulsing through our family. I’m beyond blessed.
Sorry everyone, but this little peanut has kinda taken up my time lately. Haven’t been reading that much lately. I am also going to apologize now because after Monday I will be really busy taking care of a newborn baby girl but I will do my best to make time to read and update you all on my book opinions.
So far we have met two of the key characters of the story, Peter Lake and Pearly Soames. Peter Lake apparently is a hunted man and Pearly Soames is the hunter.
What I know so far, is that Pearly Soames is a sadistic and greedy man. Peter Lake is just a common thief trying to survive in the world where evil is the master and kindness is torn apart.
